Description: For sale is a WW1 British War Medal To Wounded Pte F J Harris Essex Regiment & Research. The medal rim is engraved “21763 Pte F J Harris Essex R. Harris was from Bromley-by-Bow, London. During World War One Harris served with the Essex regiment at the rank of private under the service number 21763. On the 17th of June 1918 Harris was wounded in action and Entitled to wear a "Wound Stripe" as authorised under Army Order 204 of 6th July 1916. Joseph was entitled to a victory medal & British war medal. Unfortunately only the British war medal is present. This still has plenty of research potential. Accompanying this medal is 2 scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
