Women's Vintage Titus Calypsomatic 8894 Diver w/Pristine Dial,Orig Bracelet

Given this and considering that it has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is long overdue and recommended.***********This seldom seen women's vintage 1970's Titus Calypsomatic 8894 diver, which came from the estate of its original owner, has under the damaged crystal a pristine matte black "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial. Any imperfections seen are on the crystal, not the dial. The original lume, which remains fully intact and emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a warm buttermilk hue. The bezel, which shows wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no visible signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "WATERPROOF NON MAGNETIC SWISS INCABLOC STAINLESS STEEL" with "SOLVIL ET TITUS" followed by "GENEVE" and "8894" stamped in the center. The crystal needs to be replaced. While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches I put up for sale the case back on this watch is torqued too tight for me to remove. The 25 jewels automatic movement with quickset day and date functions runs strong, albeit fast, and both the day and date wheels roll over at 12 am. The quickset date function works by unscrewing the screwdown crown, pulling it out to the first position and then turning it clockwise until the desired date has been reached. The quickset day function works in precisely the same manner with the exception of having to turn the crown counterclockwise. After recently winding the signed crown 39 full revolutions the movement gained about 3 minutes by the end of its approximate 38 hour power reserve period. The unscrews and screws back down without issue and winds smoothly. Given that the movement runs fast and considering that it has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is long overdue and recommended. This watch measures approximately 25 mm excluding the crown, approximately 27.5 mm including the crown and approximately 13 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. This watch comes on its original "ALL STAINLESS STEEL" and "TITUS" stamped bracelet that shows moderate wear and stretch. Given that the movement runs fast a complete overhaul is recommended.
