Description: This, I believe is a first edition lithograph by William Nicholson 1872-1949, from the “Twelve Portraits” portfolio, published in London in 1899 by William Heinemann. This lithograph is,Lord Horatio Herbert Kitchener 1850-1916, a noted British military officer. The print measures 10 3/8”x 9.5” in very good condition, with a small spot on the mat below the print. The black wood frame measures 15.25”x 13.25” and has the original wood backing, with cut nails. I am listing other Nicholson’s from the same series..
