Description: Selling this Vintage "rare" LOW PROFILE White Mountain 4 (FOUR) Quart ELECTRIC Ice Cream Freezer / Maker. This is a COMPLETE SYSTEM and it's ready to go. The wooden bucket is ONLY approx. 11-1/4" tall (excluding metal brackets and handle) x 11-3/4"dia. This sale also includes the original vintage recipe booklet /instruction manual that provides wonderful White Mountain history, recipes and operating instructions. It also includes three additional pieces of RARE, vintage White Mountain literature. The original box is NOT included. The motor is a Model# 69204; 110 *120 Volts AC. The 4 Quart (One-gallon) unit is likely the best size for most modern families. This is a LOW PROFILE unit that I suppose was made to accommodate the average American kitchen cabinet back in the day. The dasher blades are NOT the typical fragile wood blades. They are made of very durable, food-grade, wear resistant DELRIN plastic material that will not crack, split or warp!!! As you probably know by now White Mountain no longer markets these American legendary Old Fashioned Ice Cream Makers. Therefore, the demand has gone through the roof for these units that have long been recognized as the highest quality system since 1853. Be sure to buy one while they're still available! It is USED but I consider this unit to be EXCELLENT overall condition especially considering this is a vintage unit. You can tell by the appearance the entire system has seen very little use. The metal bracket & latch little to no rust / tarnishing. The metal carrier & wooden handle are still in excellent condition. The motor is in excellent working condition with minor paint chips, and minor wear - I TESTED THE MOTOR AND IT WORKS GREAT. There are the typical scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, stains, chips varnish loss & minor wood losses to the wooden bucket, however this bucket is in amazing overall condition - I cleaned the bucket with soap & water and then applied vegetable oil to restore the natural wood appearance. The original label is on the bucket and it's in like new condition. The canister is in excellent condition with typical tarnishing, rust, scratches, dings & dents from handling / use. I tested it for more than one hour with warm water and it does NOT leak. The DELRIN dasher blades /scrapers look great - no splits or breaks and minimal to no wear. The raised steel TUB CENTER piece on the bottom inside of the bucket looks great with minor rust / wear. The steel outside retainer rings show very little to no rust and they are still very solid and will last for many more years of use. This unit has not been used for many years so the wood buck has some shrinkage between the tongue-n-groove vertical slats that can be resolved by filling with water and allowing to sit for several hours.
