Description: WE GOT BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FIENDS. The Unreleased Editorial Content From Ray Ferry's Lost Famous Monsters #250. Brand new, un-circulated copy. FREE SHIPPING TO CONTINENTAL USA ADDRESS ONLY. History and Background: This content of this special issue was created by FMOF editor/publisher Ray Ferry in 2009 and was intended to be his final FMOF series issue after being forced to relinquish his trademark after more than 12 years of legal battles. The issue was to be distributed by the new trademark holder according to a court-sanctioned settlement agreement. After receiving the files from Ferry, the new trademark holder reneged on his agreement to distribute Ferry's final issue as written and released his own version of #250 instead. Ferry was later able to obtain the copies of the issue he had printed, but by that time--while he had the legal right to distribute the copies to his customers-- the contentious relationship which developed with the new trademark holder compelled Ferry to re-brand the issue as "We Got By With A Little Help From Our Fiends". All depictions of the FMOF logo were covered with permanent stickers and FMOF page footers were etched off the pages. Some years later, a limited number of Ferry's original, unaltered #250 issue became available after some undistributed copies were discovered by a collector in an abandoned storage unit.
