Preponderance of online details seem to identify June 16, 1965 as the actual date when the acquisition occurred. Unknown exactly how long it took for inventory to turn over completely to the Scovill branding. In the late 1990s, IDEAL Fastener Corporation acquired the Conmar brand, currently "producing historic and vintage zippers"(That is absolutely-not what we are selling here). Based on the aforementioned details, this zipper is Genuine-VINTAGE; assembled in approximately the 1954-1965 time frame.
