Description: Interesting belt buckle design, a pull tab from a beer / soda can. I believe, because of weight, that is made of either brass or pewter. It was made by The Great American Buckle Co. in Chicago. It is marked with a Copyright date 1979 and is serial number 100. The buckle measures approx. 3-5/16" long by 1-13/16" wide and will accept a 1-1/2" wide belt. This is an older buckle and it does have marks consistent with age and normal usage.
