Vogue 1954 HP- PLW, 8" Ginny Doll Lot, case, tag clothing, bedding, accessories

Description: Up for auction is a Vogue hard plastic 1954 painted lash straight leg walker Ginny Doll with brown Ginny Flip & bangs and beautiful blue eyes. Her walker works good, her arms hold poses and she has good coloring. Her wig is nice and thick and may need a little taming or brush. Ginny is wearing a medford tagged Rain or Shine Series #30 yellow and black knit Ginny outfit from 1954. She has a matching hat, yellow and black Ginny marked top, a knit skirt with attached panties, yellow rayon vintage socks and black vintage vinyl Ginny marked shoes. This doll and her case and clothing and accessories were played with back in 1950's and then probably packed away in the 1960's. So the items are used and not perfect, but it looks like her little owner did take care with most of the items. This Ginny is 70 years old!!!! The case is pink and white metal with a white interior with stars, a cardboard drawer, a pull out metal hanger holder and a long heavy ribbed cotton ribbon to hold her in place. The handle is a white plastic on the case and there is a Ginny sticker on the side of the case. The sticker may have been put on later, not sure. There were many Ginny and non Ginny cases like this one out there in the 1950's. Coming with her is a lot of clothing and accessories. Most of the clothing is marked with the medford Ginny tagged. The pink dress does not have the medford tag but is a Ginny dress from the Kindergarten School Series. The white bunny fur coat and hat is marked Cosmopolitan Toy Company and was for the Ginger Doll, a competitor of Ginny. There is a gray print school dress, a blue dress with lace and a pink ribbon, a navy coat with white trim at collar and cuffs, a red straw hat and a dark pink and black lace unmarked gown. There are undies to match the dresses and extra shoes and socks and one black vinyl purse. There is also some unmarked bedding, a mattress in a pink sheet with a matching pillow with pillow case and a very pretty sparkly bedspread and a red and white checked table cloth with four tiny red checked napkins. I think at one time there may have been a bed and table and chairs that these items went with. There are three Ginny boxes, one for an outfit and two for shoes and socks. They are empty now. There is also a Ginny card and envelope made by Vogue. The case has six hangers and also there is a little plastic baby doll wrapped in a blanket with a pin. Ginny even has her own stand with the word Ginny written across the top of the flat round part!!! Cute. Thank you. PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
