Vogue 1952 Ginny Doll "April" Kindergarten Series Painted Lash Strung Poodle Wig

Description: Up for auction is a Vogue 8 inch (7 1/2?) Ginny Doll from 1952 in an "April" tagged outfit from the Kindergarten School Series. Ginny is hard plastic and strung so she can really pose nicely. Ginny has great coloring, a light brown caracul (lambs wool) wig that was only made for one or two years on the strung painted lash dolls. Her eyes are blue. This doll is wearing a shadow print pink organdy dress with a Bertha collar and a satin waist band. There is Venetian Lace on the dress which is very rare. She has matching pink organdy panties, a white lace slip, pink vintage rayon socks, and white tie leatherette shoes. The picture and description in one of my Izen & Stover books says she is missing flowers and twin bows in her hair. This Ginny has two small twin pink bows in her hair and she also had these two little flower bouquets. I am not sure if the flowers are supposed to go in her hair or on her dress. I have not seen another picture of this doll with this dress. It also says the dress came in yellow and blue, but obviously it also came in pink as you can see. The doll and dress are in excellent condition considering the age of 72!!! She is a sweet doll and a rare gem for the right Vogue Ginny Doll collector. Thank you.
