Vintage Silvestri® Textile Tree Topper Ornament – VGC

Description: Offered here is this Vintage Silvestri® Textile Tree Topper Ornament. It is either a fox or a likeness of the Rat King from the classic holiday story The Nutcracker. The tree topper has a plastic form inside and is made of plastic face and hands, with textile fabric that has been coated to last forever and hold its shape. I am unsure of the age of the piece, but I would guess that it dates to the 1970s or 1980s. It does have some light wear to the finish and is a little dusty, but it is otherwise in great condition for an older ornamental piece. The piece stands 14” tall, is 8” long across the front and 6” wide from front to back. It can be used as a tree topper or stand on its own. It is an interesting and unusual holiday ornament that is sure to be a treasured addition to your holiday décor and will certainly be a conversation starter.
