Description: Here is an interesting pair of Windsor chairs which I would date to the 1930/40s,or 50s. I believe they are mahogany with a wide center splat with two spindles on each side. They have H stretchers with a double stretcher in the middle which is quite rare especially for a smaller chair. Also worth mentioning is the support system underneath which has kept these chairs solid even after all these years. I like the streamlined and elegant look of these chairs while still maintaining the strength and solidity of the Windsor form. Unfortunately there is no makers mark on them and they do have some wear and tear as mentioned above.
