Description: Vintage portable Necchi Italian sewing machine. One of the earlier models, I think, fairly heavy, and very well made. I'm not a seamstress but it does work, in a quiet, appropriate manner. The light does work. Cosmetically it's quite nice for its age. Note: someone spliced in a Singer foot pedal. They did this by wrapping new wire leads around the old Necchi terminals, as seen in the pictures, then wrapping with electrical tape. This works, and would make it simple to hook it up to an original Necchi foot pedal, but if you like I can cut off the terminal ends, solder the wires together and insulated them correctly. Includes some Singer needles, bobbin and thread.
