Description: VINTAGE One Sheet Movie Poster RACING BLOOD 1936 - Fabulous Saturated Color Measures 27" x 41". Released in 1936, probably not the greatest movie ever made. But what a poster! From IMBD: “Frankie Reynolds (Frankie Darro’ ), youngest member of a family of jockeys, borrows $4.85 (yes, four dollars and eighty-five cents) from his sister Phyllis (Gladys Blake), who is not a jockey, to buy a crippled colt from the stables owned by Clay Harrison (Kane Richmond). He nurses the colt back to health, and in two years has one of the fastest horses in the country.” No idea about provenance. Don’t know if the poster was ever used to promote the movie in a theatrical setting. IMDB and other sources show a different illustration for the movie poster. This image is far, far superior. Condition: Small tears at some edges (pictured), tiny opening at center fold points (as shown). No writing on back. No stains. Back is somewhat yellowed, consistent with age. Overall good to very good condition. Would look stunning framed and placed in an upscale horse operation, stable or riding rink. Will ship folded as found. Stored where there is no smoking, no pets.
