Description: * Here we have a vintage Mettoy tinplate clockwork Race Car in working order. * Made in Great Britain ~ sorry we do not know what year this was produced - understood to be 1950s/60s. Please do your own research. Any expert that wants to share their knowledge please let us know, we are more than happy to learn.* Clockwork motor is in working order (although not overly powerful). We have included a key but this is not original to the car. It is marked 'Penguin' on one side and 'made in England' on the other (photos 12 & 13).* Tinplate body and balloon type wheels; Steerable front wheels; Racing Number 6. * Lithographed tin printed detail of car and driver. There is age related fatigue, paint loss and scratches as you can see in the photos, please use the photos to assess the condition.* It measures approx. 7 inches long; 2 inches high; 3.5 inches wide. Weighs approx 100g.* There is no original packaging, however, please be assured it will be well packed for its next lap.* Please use the ALL the photos, and the magnify function, to satisfy yourself over the condition etc, as what you see is what you will receive.
