Description: Up for sale is this 1997 Manitou SX 26" wheel suspension fork. The paint is in decent shape but does have some scratches and scuffs. The decals are mostly intact but also have some scratches and scuffs. The fork works but it is very stiff. It definitely needs a rebuild. I pulled the crown, boots, and top few elastomers for a quick inspection and to take photos. The elastomers I pulled were intact and seem to be in good shape. The exposed portion of the upper stanchions are in good shape as well. The boots are intact and still fit snugly. I didn't dig into the fork any deeper. The steerer is steel and 8" long. There is some surface rust inside and outside of the tube. I left the crown race on the fork. Feel free to send your questions and don't be shy about making an offer. The worst I can do is decline.
