Description: 1920s - 1930s Large Art Deco Canary Yellow Vaseline Glass Fishbowl Very large, Art Deco canary yellow Vaseline glass fishbowl! This beauty measures 12" across the top rim and is almost 13.5" across at its widest point. From top to bottom, it's about 8" +/- deep which includes the bulb type bottom of the piece; our best guesstimation is that it holds approximately 2-2.5 gallons of water. Condition for this item is fantastic! The bowl does exhibit striations and air bubbles throughout, and as mentioned is canary yellow in color when not under the blacklight. When a black light is applied, it showcases its gorgeous glowing green color. There is one small chigger bite on the inside rim that is about a 1/16" in size, surface scratches on the inside from use, as well as waterlines that are mostly visible only under a black light. Otherwise, this item given its age and use, is in incredible shape. Hard to find a nicer Vaseline glass fishbowl of this size, and quality! This item ships for free within the contiguous U.S., will be insured, and double boxed so that it arrives to its new owner completely intact.
