According to our research, this piece was hand carved and painted in the Rajasthan state of Northwest India. Unfortunately, its exact age of manufacture is unknown, but the piece does have visible signs of aging. As you will see in the pictures, this sculpture is an excellent example of Rajasthani folk art as the piece features fine detail and retains its strong colors. This is also a very fun piece to look at as the sculpture appears humorous with the horse's tongue sticking out. This sculpture would therefore make an excellent conversation piece in any home. The sculpture is about 12 inches long by 5 inches wide and 6 inches in height. It is in great shape overall but, as mentioned, it does have some signs of aging.
