They were manufactured sometime between 1949-1980 in the German Democrat Republic using traditional production techniques. It appears that this was originally a set of 12 ornaments, but 2 are missing (a train and a truck). The ornaments include a rocking horse, a roly-poly clown figure, a top, a rolling pin, a mushroom, a string type instrument, an apple, a drum, a stick horse, and a bell. The ornaments and the original cardboard box are in good vintage condition. There is a clear piece of film that allows you to see into the box. It is in good condition though has come unglued from the box lid. It can be easily re-glued if one desires.
