Description: Here is a yellow ware French covered crock that was used to sell and serve pate foie gras. These days they are often repurposed as butter or jam servers. This one is in very good condition. Pot is a creamy yellow with chocolate glaze, embossed knob. No visible flaws. The sides are enhanced with lion heads. Manufactured by Sarreguemines, France and stamped on the underside. Measures 3 3/4” in diameter and 3 5/8"” tall. FYI: I am returning to Paris and will pause ebay sales from Aug 31 until late October. I can be reached by email, through eBay, and will ship purchases at the end of October.
