Description: For sale is one USED vintage Collins Red Seal broad hatchet / carpenter axe with what MIGHT be the original wood handle. It is about 15" long overall, with a 4 1/4" cutting edge, 5 1/4" head front to back, and the whole thing weighs about 2 lbs. 4.5 oz. BEFORE being packaged for shipping. It is in fairly good shape overall, with not a lot of use nor grinding to sharpen the edge. (I did put somewhat of an edge on it.) It has no major dents from being pounded on. This does have signs of use and / or wear including rust, scrapes and scratches, damaged handle, somewhat loose head, etc.. See pictures.
