This listing is for a Buffet Crampon (France) ligature and mouthpiece cap set for Bb soprano clarinet. This set will fit any standard size plastic or hard rubber Bb soprano clarinet mouthpiece. This is basically a stock 2 screw ligature, with the addition of a 'floating' reed plate, which is not attached to the main body of the ligature. This plate cradles the reed and reduces the 'pinching' action of a traditional ligature, thus providing better response. This ligature is nickel plated. This ligature is in very good condition. It has not been bent out of shape. There are no cracks in the metal. The screws are both original, and function properly. There is minor wear to the nickel plating, as well as light nicks and scratches. The cap has a couple tiny nicks, but no significant dings or cracks, and it is not bent out of shape.
