In very good condition, no annotations and complete, fold to centre as found. The bill is in very good condition. The bill bears a stamp. The 1920 Finance Act specified that any receipt for something worth £2.00 or over should have a twopence stamp attached. The stamp is a perfin i.e. it has initials or a name perforated across it to discourage theft. The initial on this stamp are "SH LD" - The company that owned the Regent Palace was "Strand Hotel Ltd." henc "SH Ld".
