Description: Vintage art tile featuring the image of artwork by Mexican/Native American artist Armado Maurilio Pena Jr, made by A.R.T. Co. of Albuquerque, NM. The image is from his painting entitled, "El Arco Iris" and pictures a woman sitting outside of a pueblo house with a rainbow in the background. The picture is centered on the tile with a black line border, on a creamy yellow background. Done in soft pastels of peach, pink, blue and brown, it has a glossy tile finish. There are some surface scuff marks and light scratches that can be seen at certain angles but doesn't affect the overall picture. The tile measures 7 7/8 inches square and is about 1/4 inch thick. The original paperwork is attached to the back giving the painting title, information about the artist, tile care instructions and company information. Also attached to the back is a metal hook so it is ready to hang. It can also be framed or placed in a picture stand.
