Description: Adorable 1970’s Vintage Victorian Prairie style Gunne Sax Dress in Good condition. Zipper works great. Very clean. This dress is so sweet! Original tag has been cut out. This is a genuine Gunne Sax original. Some sewing repairs needed to restore if desired but totally wearable as is. The main notation would be where the waist panel connects to skirt, mostly on the back, the fabric has come apart a bit as shown in photos and would be a straight forward repair by anyone who knows how to sew, a seamstress or tailor. This is covered up by bow when tied. A couple other very small areas where similar is occurring at seams. Please refer to photos carefully. Lace is in very good condition. Fabric is in overall good condition, no obvious spots or stains that I could find. Acetate Lining has some discoloration probably due to washing, and lining hem is coming unstitched in some areas as shown in photos. This does not show when wearing. I would say this was probably a Juniors size 7 as other Gunne Sax dresses I have worn are a size 7. I’m an XS in modern sizing, 32” chest and 24-25 waist. Approximately measurements are as follows: Armpit to Armpit: 15” across front (30”) Waist: 13” across unstretched (26”) Length: from front center at collar to hem: 46” Please ask any questions and I will be happy to answer.
