Description: A beautiful classic Aloha hostess dress from the 1960’s! The fabric is a high quality all-cotton sateen, and the dress style is very kimono-inspired. In excellent condition, with the gold paint still shiny. Fits XS/S: Surplice bodice has some flexibility; currently tacked at 36” chest 26” waist: Has darts that can let out for a couple of inches larger waist size with proper tailoring; 15.5” shoulder to waist seam 13.5” sleeves 9” wide at bell-sleeved hem 39” skirt from waist seam + 1.75 hem allowance Hip has some fluidity from the large front knife pleat; 40” laid flat with pleats intact 54.5” total length. Label is “Reef-Hawaii”. This is a less common dress style, but the label “Sears Hawaiian Fashions” also used this same print; matching button-down shirts can be found!
