Description: VINTAGE 1966 Highly Collectible Mamiya/Sekor 1000 TL Camera with Sekor Auto 55mm 1:1.8 Lens! Here is a very nice Mamiya/Sekor 1000 TL Film Camera with Sekor Auto 55mm 1:1.8 Lens. This camera has been tested and the shutter release fires at all speeds. The meter may or may not work, I didn't have a new battery to test it, so buy it as though it doesn't work, and if it works, consider that a bonus :-) This camera has NOT been tested with film, but I bet it would be just fine! Cosmetically this camera is in good condition for its age with normal wear and tear, and minor marks and or scratches - not horrible esp for a camera that is almost 60 years old! The viewfinder is clear and the lens has no mold or fungus at all! clean as can be! The lens focus control is a touch loose, but Im being super picky here. it still focuses fine of course. The top prism cover has a slight dent but nothing that affects the function of this fine camera. This Camera has the claim to fame of being the FIRST TTL Metering SLR camera that was made! - This was a big deal for it's day in 1966! and everyone else would be playing catch up! (Nikon, Canon, Minolta and Pentax) TTL is "Through the lens" and so this means that, just like using a Single Lens for focus and composition, you would also get this metered as well TTL! Includes strap clips as shown. Comes with its form fitting Leather Case!! The case is still in good shape, with some wear but tons and tons of life left and fits perfectly like a glove - the snaps are perfect. The Self Timer works perfectly as well! - the inside looks very very clean as well, as shown, and I bet would shoot a roll of 35mm film perfectly right now! Uses the very popular M42 screw mount! - I didn't remove the lens for a photo, but it's all clean inside! MADE IN JAPAN!!
