Very Rare New Genuine Minolta Maxxum 7000i Creative Card Holder Reader Door Set

Description: This is a NO RESERVE listing for an impossible to find part for Minolta Maxxum 7000i, Alpha 7700i, Dynax 7700i (Not 7000AF, not 700Si, not Maxxum 7, not Maxxum 7D, not Maxxum 8000i, and not Maxxum 70) NEW OLD STOCK, Creative Card Reader/Holder Door Set. Several Minolta Maxxums were able to take Creative Expansion Cards that added shooting style modes, extra functionality, etc. and the Maxxum 7000i was one of them. The card door reader also had buttons for rewinding film, changing ISO, etc. and the one weakness was that the door was hinged and the reader was connected via a ribbon cord that would get kinked and then the reader would stop working. Other times the clear plastic window on the door would pop off and get jammed inside the card reader. The window was just glued in place and sometimes the glue would release and the window would jam the reader bay. So if you have a problematic card reader door, then you are in luck. Note, this new part has the original factory protector still covering the plastic window to protect it from getting scratched. You will not find this part new anywhere. Minolta stopped making the parts in the 1990's and stock has long dried up. So, if you have a favorite Maxxum 7000i that is in great condition but has this failed part, you are lucky. I recommend you search for an old-timer with experience repairing Maxxums. I'm sure some still exist since this is a repair not meant for those not factory trained. I will be listing some more Maxxum 7000i and 8000i parts and other Maxxum parts that I still have in my inventory.
