Description: Up for sale is a 5G Jetpack unlimited prepaid data plan. I am including an Orbic Speed 5G hotspot, battery, and power adapter with the sale. This will transfer the plan over to you. If you need rural broadband, this is a great option, because it will assign the plan to your name, and has built-in Ethernet, so you can either use it as a Wi-Fi router on its own, such as with an Ethernet switch, or plug it into a router. This plan is no longer available, and Verizon stopped offering it several years ago. It includes: * Unlimited deprioritized 4G LTE & 5G data - this is data without throttle, but at a lower priority than phones* 720p HD Video - you can use a VPN to get higher video quality. It does not include 5G UW, and works best for rural people in 4G LTE or 5G "nationwide" data coverage. It will work in 5G UW areas, but only with non-UW 5G signals (850 MHz, 1900 MHz, etc). Also included is the transfer of a 5GB phone plan for $25/month. This plan is also no longer offered. The two lines are in a group, and I use the 5GB plan so that I can access My Verizon and chat support. If you just have the Jetpack alone on an account, it becomes difficult to access. Combined the plan costs $70/month. You can cancel the phone line, if you wish, after everything is transferred over. But I strongly recommend keeping the two together. When Verizon wants to access the account, such as to replace a device, they want to text a verification PIN to a line. Jetpacks can't receive those. So while it is $50/month otherwise, paying the extra $20/month marginally is best practice. There's a $5/month multiline discount, so it's $25/month for the phone, and $45/month for the Jetpack, making it $70/month combined. There's also usually about $0.38/month in fees and taxes. And, you get a phone SIM with unlimited talk/text, and 5GB a month of data. You can even eSIM it as a second line, and use that for Verizon - while keeping AT&T or T-Mobile on your phone. This is less than the gUDP plans per month typically, includes a second device, and officially supports a physical hotspot. You can use any Verizon certified 4G LTE or 5G hotspot with this plan. Just don't ever move the SIM to a phone or tablet. If you need to replace the SIM, you can do so with Verizon care. This plan is legitimate and that is fully permitted by Verizon. They know many people depend on these legacy plans as their sole broadband connection. You can also use this plan with external antennas, such as with a Nighthawk MR5200 or MR6150, by moving the SIM. But keep the Orbic Speed 5G as that is a "known device" to Verizon. Transferring prepaid Verizon plans is a bit hazy in terms of policy. But My Verizon does let me update the account info. So when you purchase, I will transfer it to your name. The price may seem steep, but you will save about a grand a year versus Starlink for internet. If Verizon works well in your area, this could be your best answer. You must have at least ten (10) positive feedbacks to purchase. I reserve the right to decline sale for any reason. Signature confirmation will be required on this item.
