Double sided and carved both sides.These each have gold thin stretchy thread to hang.We purchased these from an Estate Sale here in Virginia and have no history on these. The grain of the zebrawood makes these very special.My research says that Zebrawood, also know as Microberlinia or Zebrano, is an exotic hardwood that comes from the trees in West African countries of Gabon and Cameroon, and can also be imported from Congo.
