The Delta 2 is the second and last of two releases of this uniquely designed model and was discontinued in the mid 90's. Several unique features found only on this model is the strategically placed, fully recessed crown at the 2 position. It will never ding into your wrist. The oval shaped date window at the 6 position. The inner beveled bezel with triangular shaped hour markers. Lastly, the fancy swivel lugs to flex with your natural wrist movement. The only difference between the two models is the 1st came out with a domed mineral crystal which was more prone to scratching and brakage while the 2nd had the flat profile crystal. Other options were a stainless steel bracelet instead of the leather strap as well as gold electroplating known as the 'Golden Delta'. This watch was truly designed for comfort & efficiency and ranks at the top of it's class for classic looks. This all time favorite classic timepiece was manufactured in 1994 yet remains in an overall good to very good shape for it's age as it was not worn on a frequent/regular basis. As should be expected, there are many fine scuffs, swirl marks and fine scratches to the metals but nothing out of the norm or worth writing home over (study the pic's). Flat profile mineral crystal appears to be mark free. The beautiful cream toned dial is still crisp & clear. Watch presents itself beautifully mounted on it's OEM polished SS bracelet which does show the bulk of the wear marks mostly from typical desk diving. You get this rare treat in it's original, untampered with and unmolested shape. Remember, you can always have the metals professionally buffed & polished to restore it's original shine if so desired. A true work of beauty and a rare gem as seen in the numerous HD pic's under magnification. A fresh Energizer battery was recently installed and keeping proper time. This watch only came in two sizes back in the 90's. This is the largest size of the two but may still be considered on the small size for today's standards. The ladies version is considerably smaller. Some specifics: Watch measures just under 1 1/2" or 37mm across the case excluding fancy swivel lugs. Width is 18mm between the lugs. Bracelet is currently sized for an apx 7" to 7 1/4" wrist circumference (or smaller). Individual links can easily be removed for any downsizing.
