He finished eighth in school history with 28 passes defended. He also returned two interceptions for touchdowns. The 5-foot-10, 192-pounder had a solid NFL Combine running in the 4.5s at the NFL scouting combine, bench pressing 225 pounds 18 times with a 34 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9-8 broad jump, a 4.00 20-yard shuttle and a 6.87 three-cone drill. Another huge positive to scouts is that Wade is known as a high-character individual. The big play cornerback received a 5.9 final grade from National scouting after his senior year, a second-round designation. In 15 career regular-season games with the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns, Wade had 17 tackles, two passes defended, and seven tackles on special teams. He also has two tackles in two postseason appearances with the Saints. In 2015 with the New York Giants, Wade played 16 games with 52 tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery for a touchdown.
