Description: The Wrecker, by Robert Louis Stevenson and Lloyd Osbourne, printed in 1896 is nicely illustrated. Outside covers are faded with mild corner wear. The spine cloth is ripped at top edge and cracked down center and ripped away at right corner(see photo). It is quite brittle. Gilt on front and top pages is still good. Binding is solid. Interior covers are fairly clean. There is a water stain in upper right corner of 1st 118 pages and some bottom corner tiny dog ears and nips (see photos). One plate has separated from the binding where it shows. Otherwise, besides a few spots occasionally, the remaining pages have normal aging. Nice readable copy to add to a set!
