Description: "The Pilgrim's Progress is the allegorical tale of Christian the pilgrim on his journey to the Celestial City. Along the way, Christian encounters both worthy companions and dreadful adversaries." This hardcover was published by Mershon Company circa 1902 and includes a memoir of the author by George Cheeber, D.D., and engravings on wood by G., E., and J. Dalziel from designs by William Harvey (Illustrations). This book has been very well read as per the amount of wear and damage. The exterior is worn and faded throughout the cover, front back and sides, as well as folds or bumps from the cloth not laid down correctly on the boards (or has lifted and warped with age). There is also a dark stain on the back cover at the bottom left corner. The inside pages have some smudging and natural browning of the pages but are otherwise in good condition.
