Description: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie. Published in 1926 by Dodd, Mead and Company. This is a fifth printing, printed in October 1926, just 3 months after the rate 1st printing. Missing the extremely scarce dust jacket. The book is in good only condition for its age. The boards are bumped, soiled, and worn, with some fraying. Spine is sun darkened, soiled, and worn, with some fraying at spine tips. Slight spine lean. Exposed edges of text block a little dusty and soiled. Ffep has bookplate attached and old book price penciled in. Pages throughout have moderate soiling, small tears, and dogeared corners. Narrow spots of webbing between pages in gutter may be showing in a few places but holding. Rear free endpaper has small penciled notation at top corner. Still a decent readable copy of a highly sought after title at an affordable price. See pictures to judge condition for yourself. I want my customers to know exactly what they are getting and to be happy with their purchases. If in doubt, please ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE bidding/buying. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!!!
