Group 10-1047 Wear & chipping to edges & corners, with scratches, indentations, rub-wear & soiling, plus the following - FRONT COVER: Vertical reader crease right of spine, w/top to bottom vertical crease parallel to it; 7/15" corner crease top right corner; 1-1/8" crease right lower edge; 5/16" lift crease left lower edge; 1/2" crease left top edge, w/ 15/16" crease below; 1-1/4" crease upper left midcover; faint 3/4" crease left midcover; sticker residue; 15/16" crease mid-lower right edge, w/multiple lesser scratches & creases on either side; 5/32" corner crease lower right corner. - SPINE: Lean to right; NO top to bottom crease; 2 faint side-to-side creases. - BACK COVER: Yellowing; vertical reader crease left of spine; 15/32" corner crease top left corner; faint 1/2" crease upper left midcover; 1-1/8" rub-wear mark mid-upper left edge; 5/16" corner crease lower left corner. - INTERIOR: Browning pages/inside covers; inked rubber stamping front left inside cover. - OVERALL CONDITION = Good While the copyright page indicates that this book is a "First Collier Books Edition 1963," I am hesitant to jump to that conclusion, since the listing of other Collier titles at the rear extends to #AV584V -- NO GOOD FROM A CORPSE. That being said, I will definitely go out on a limb and state that the other purported "1st Collier editions" of this title were published many years after the Collier which I have listed, since those other Collier editions include ISBN numbers (which were not yet invented in 1963!), plus the retail prices of $3.50 are dramatically higher than the original retail price of 95 cents, which is clearly printed on the cover of my book. So judge for yourself. . .. Shipping charges include postage (including USPS Tracking on domestic shipments), packaging materials, labor & fuel (the nearest post office is 14 MILES away!); but I do combine shipping charges on multiple items -- so fill up that cart NOW an' save some $$$!
