THE BOGEY BOOK very rare but disbound 1903 children's book

Description: The Bogey Book, by E.S. Illustrated by R.J.S. (Robert J Sigmund). There is no publishing information, but after research, determined that it was published by Eyre & Spottiswoode in the UK. There are no copies currently online for sale, WorldCat lists 6 copies as being in university libraries/museums (only 2 of which are in the US). These all list both 1901 and 1903? (questionable) as the print date. This was originally bound with hard pictorial boards and a cloth spine. This copy is missing covers. The leaves each have tape along the left edge, indicating that it was at one time taped into the covers. There are 16 leaves present; WorldCat lists 36 pages (or 18 leaves). These are pictured in their entirety. A few have tears, most have light soiling at margins. They measure 14-1/2" X 10". Each leaf has a full color illustration with a small block of text on one side, and the poem with one or two b&w illustrations on the reverse.Some of the "bogey" types are: The Boggart, The Brownie, The Bugbear, The Brae Dog, The Black Man, The Banshee, The Boggle, The Bugge, and The Flaybecker.An extremely scarce title in any condition.
