Description: Stargate - Atlantis - Ancient Personal Shield Emitter prop replica "The Personal Shield generator is an Ancient device first seen in season one's "Hide And Seek". The device was found to grant the wearer invincibility from physical harm, and would glow bright green when worn/active. The prop was nicknamed "The Turtle Broach" due to it's shell like design, and it's placement on the actor's chest." The shield emitter has been 3D printed in Photosensitive Resin, sanded, primed, and painted to look authentic. Model paintwork has been carefully selected to best match the colours and designs seen in limited screen time. The shield emitter is magnetically activated, and lights up by lining up a matching magnetic plate to the back of the prop. The plate can be suspended like a necklace behind clothing and will attract and hold the shield device in place on the chest as well as causing the piece to light up (as seen in the listing photos). This is a brilliant effect and mimics the way the shield is used in limited screen time. The emitter is battery powered by a CR2032 button cell battery (included) that can be easily replaced. This piece comes with a stand for display purposes which has been 3D printed in photosensitive resin, primed and painted to have a more rustic finish. The stand includes a plaque with a quote from the episode "Hide And Seek".
