Stanley Mitre Box Index Clamping Lever Assembly For No. 2358

This is a very nice lot of replacement parts for a Stanley No. 2358 cast iron mitre box. It includes the index clamping lever, screws, lever pin, and springs. No damage to any part. It has a gray and red finish on it which Stanley used in the 1950's. The parts included are No's MB68, 113, and 65 in the diagramClamping lever is 5-7/8" long and the lot weighs 7.5 ounces. No signs of wear or rust - probably never used. No problems or issues. EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues. GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust. GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws. POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts.
