Item Description Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Bass VI 3-Color Sunburst A high cost performance model of BASS VI that is rarely available second hand. The BASS VI was manufactured by Fender from 1961 to 1975, and after that, several reproduction models were made due to demand. This is a very affordable model released by Fender's entry brand, Squier. Basswood body, maple neck/rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets, and three Jaguar-type pickups. In addition to volume/tone, the controls include an ON/OFF switch for each pickup and a bass cut switch. It is tuned one octave below the regular tuning of an electric guitar, but according to Fender's official website, it is a "bass" instrument. There are paint chips on the neck joint, but overall it is in good condition with only minor scratches and little signs of use. There is no arm and the neck is slightly wavy, but all parts have been maintained and cleaned at our repair center and playability is good.
