Description: Soviet Russian USSR Combat Service Medal with document, researched, formally awarded in 1942 but physically presented in 1967 (a "catch-up" award), to Anna Ruda (nee Orlova), for heroism during WWII as a combat medic! Per the award citation, as a medic in the 101st Rifle Brigade, 39th Army, during the Battle of Rzhev in December 1942: "She provided medical aid to around 200 severely wounded over the course of five days."
