Description: Here is a RARE & COLLECTIBLE copy of sheet music by Indiana choral and handbell composer Ruth E. Artman (1919-2010). It is labeled No. MI-117 – S.A.T.B. It was for the “Sounds of Hope” Concert Tour, Varner M. Chance, Director. The copyright is 1975 by Richmond Music Press, Richmond, Indiana. It is a paperback, 10 pages, and measures 10 x 7 inches. The music was for Sounds of Hope, Inc., R.R. 1, North Webster, Indiana. The cover design was by artist June Tripp. The full title is “Sounds of Hope, SATB, Piano Accompaniment with optional Brass Quartet, Words & Music by Ruth Artman.” The choral group was organized by Varner Chance, and they made two tours in Europe in the mid-late 1970s. My father-in-law accompanied the group for the tours as the official photographer. This piece of music was passed down by him and has been stored in a box of miscellaneous materials for over 40 years. It is in GOOD TO BETTER CONDITION, with no writing or other marks inside or out. I could not find another copy available online.
