The house is built entirely of redwood - inside and out - and its four story tower is 55 feet high. The structure is said to have cost $9000 to build originally less then it cost to paint in 1981. Each room in the house is named after a specific rose, a bud of which usually graces the dressers and provides the theme for the room. Many roses grow outside this handsome Inn for all to enjoy.
