Description: Three pieces of Sevres commissioned by King Louis Philippe for Chateau Fontainebeau ("Hunting Lodge") and commonly referred to as the Hunt pattern. There is (a) Bowl, 9 inches; (b) Cup, 5 inches in diameter; and (c) Saucer, 7 inches. The rim is hand painted with various animals and foliage. A star emblem is in the center. Designed for Chateau Fontainebleau with Sevres marks on the underside with various seals and incised letters and numbers. All pieces dated in the 1840's. Rare and lovely with no chips or cracks.
