Description: For sale is a Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone! This Mark VI is a serial #183,xxx! This saxophone is sold as not working for parts category and will need an extensive overhaul and pad job to be a fully functional saxophone. This saxophone has its fair share of heavy patina, scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear of red/green colors, engraving wear, weld marks, neck wear, dents on the bow and other used marks associated with a horn needing full overhaul. The bow has some dents in it. The right hand F key helper bar is mangled. The horn is dirty and mucky needing a full clean. Above the main Selmer logo is a heavy patch of missing lacquer patina dent area. The saxophone comes with a random gig bag no name case. Although this horn has some ugly areas there is still great upside to the horn. If you enjoy the restoration process this horn could be a great piece for you. The saxophone is a fantastic 183xxx serial number, it has a nice neck, the Selmer logo's & stamping are nice, and the engraving is fantastic almost fully intact untouched from the patina.
