Description: Here is a very nice rare Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery plate decorated with a border of white mice incised in black on two tones of brown bands against a creamy white ground. It is signed S.E.G., dated 1911, and with decorator initials RH in a rectangle (unknown). It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter, and 5/8 inch high. There is a restored rim chip (12 o'clock, first pic), glaze bubbles on the back, and some wear to the ridge inside the border on the face but it's in otherwise very presentable condition with no other chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. A good piece of SEG from the famous Arts and Crafts New England art pottery.
