If so this kit is what you need to repair it once and for all! The seat itself is NOT included with the purchase (it is just shown to represent what this kit repairs, you will need your old broken seat base pieces like in the photo to be able to use this kit). This listing is for the CNC laser cut T-304 Stainless Steel repair plate set up that will repair the spark seat bases so you are not forced into having to buy a $300 plus seat assembly, as Seadoo only services the seat as a complete assembly. This repair kit will repair many of those broken latches in a few minutes and makes a sound repair that you can use for years to come. This is CNC laser cut from T-304 stainless steel, includes both reinforcing plates and the rivets and backing washers to install it. You will need a 1/8 drill bit & drill, and a pop rivet gun to install this kit. This can be installed after you have broken your latch, or before if you want to help prevent it from breaking in the future. Install the lower L-plate onto the broken side of the latch with the 2 rivets and backing washers, then slide the broken piece back on to the seat sliding the stainess L plate under the broken section between the seat foam and base plate. Lay the top flat plate included with the kit on top to locate your 4 other holes and drill and install the 4 rivets through the 2 plates, sandwiching the original broken section back together (see photos in listing). Makes for a nice, neat repair that fixes the weak factory area that breaks so easily. NOTE this is a repair kit to fix or reinforce YOUR seat, this does not include ANY SEAT or pieces of the stock factory seat, you need both the broken parts from your seat base to be able to use this repair kit (if you lost the broken latch handle section you are out of luck and will need an entire seat). It needs to be broken in the area you see the one in the listing photos for this kit to work. With this kit, you will receive the T-304 stainless steel lower support plate, the stainless steel upper plate, 6 pop rivets and 2 backing washers. The company has changed the design slightly since the photos of the one installed on the machine, as now there is only one rivet in the pocket on the side and one rivet on the lower bottom of the pocket, not the 4 as seen in the photos as they were not needed.
