Description: I purchased this ring new, from Gilt Groupe, in 2013, but neglected to purchase the tough, take-no-prisoners attitude that goes with it, so I never wore it. The ring measures 26mm tall and 24mm wide. An inch is 25.4mm, so this is a big ring. The shoulders taper from 15mm wide to 6.8mm, and the band is 3mm thick. The quartz has checkerboard faceting and measures 20mm. It's about 10mm deep and bezel-set, with a big old fish spine draped over it. I don't know what the red oval stones are on the sides -- probably more red quartz. The black finish is either a rhodium dip or an oxidization treatment, but that, combined with the fish skeleton pattern on the band mean this ring is not a great candidate for resizing unless you have a jeweler who's seen it all, done it all, and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for it. Comes with the original Scott Kay fabric bag. Size: 7 Marks: Stamped "925" plus Kay's pictomark. Weight: 27.7 grams
