Description: Collected directly from a Mexico City artisan back in 1985, this spectacularly painted skull is a masterpiece of the Cartonero's art. I believe that the polka dot design is unique and rare as the the bold coloration. It measures 10" tall by 9" in depth and 7" wide and also it has a string inserted should you wish to display it hanging in the air. The unified overall design is strong and it reveals the craftsman's art and is not "slick" as many modern versions are. This unique piece of authentic folk art is over 30 years old and in mint condition. It is part of my extensive Day of the Dead Mexican Artifact collection. LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD HOMES!
