Description: Unique piece of US military history. Star from the 9th Infantry Regiment flag / colors that was carried through the Spanish American War and Boxer Rebellion. The star was given to 9th infantry officer Hugh Douglas Wise who was a West Point graduate and served with distinction with the 9th and retired a Colonel after WWI.
