Description: Mozart Complete Symphonies: a rare-to-find set by Philips Josef KRIPS with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (Symphonies Nos. 21 to 41) And Neville MARRINER with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields (early Symphonies) ***Please Read Carefully*** CD no. 12 in the set is missing, the sleave is there but no disc. So I replaced it with the singleton CD released by Philips. Luckily, the CDs in this set have the exact track numbers as the individual CDs releasedseparately. Philips didn't bother to rearrange symphonies order, and it's a good thing. Other CDs in the set, particularly nos. 7, 8, 9, and 11, show heavy scuffs and scratches, so I provide their equivalent in the form of single CDs, as replacement, in excellent condition. These are the most famous symphonies. Same track list. See pictures for illustration. The individual CDs display the content on the disc itself, making it easy to recognize, in lieu of CD number. The buyer will get both: the original content of the set, plus the 5 separate individual CDs as replacements. You decide if you want to put the replacement CDs in the sleeves and get rid of the scuffed discs. That's the idea, your choice ! It is possible to ship the extra CDs without jewel cases. Other CDs in the set (early Symphonies) show scuffs and hairlines, but they were tested and played without any issue throughout. Original booklet in the set in very good condition. (The individual CDs don't come with booklets, it's just a cover). Cardboard case is solid, shows some signs of wear in the top left corner, overall in good to very good condition. A lot of effort to rescue this set, but it's worth it ! Josef KRIPS recordings are hard to find. You get the feel of the Viennese school combined with the Concertgebouw Orchestra terrific performance on Philips sound. Marriner does a great job in the early symphonies.
